Approach To Leather
Leather is an inherently sustainable material, and in further commitment to low-impact production, each piece of leather is sourced from a by-product of the food industry. That means the hides of the animal are used in construction and the rest of the animal is consumed. Manufacturing is on a scale that is proportional to demand and any remaining scraps are used to create a limited leather goods collection.

Zero Inventory
Each jacket is cut and constructed only once an order is received. Every piece takes one to three days to make. Micro-stocks of leathers and accessories are kept on hand to ensure there is no over-ordering.

Zero Waste
In addition to zero inventory, Nour Hammour is dedicated to producing zero waste. At the end of production, all discarded leather and shearling is collected by partner artisans and repurposed into a collection of leather goods, limiting environmental impact and creating more positive working conditions. This sustainability project is called Recut.

Microfactories
All collections are developed at the Nour Hammour atelier in Paris. Each production location is chosen to optimize product quality, reduce carbon emissions, and offer superior artisan craftsmanship. The label includes an in-house team of manufacturers, alongside small-scale workshops in Paris and Istanbul. One of our favorite producers that we work with is based in Paris, they have been making leather jackets for years - they made our first leather jacket 8 years ago. We established our workshop in istanbul to have a vertically integrated atelier specializing in shearling.
